1. Overall, I'm pretty anxious about writing my first feature story. While my nerves have gone down since our lecture 2 weeks ago, I have very little experience with writing for newspapers so this is really something new. With how short these articles need to be, I'm really concerned with making the story in so few words.

2. As far as things I may do exceptionally, I am really confident about my interviews. I know the questions I need to ask and I know when to let the interviewee tell their story. I'm confident I can tell the stories of my interviewees well. I'm also confident I can compile all the information I need for the article and be able to distinguish what is important for the feature.

3. I'm not as confident about my interviewee's. As I have never met these people before, I can't be sure that they will be forthcoming with information, or that I will be able to get enough from them to get a good story. I hope that I can make them feel comfortable enough to give a good interview.

4. From the video shoot, I noticed mostly how Nazari framed his shooting. After taking Film and Video Aesthetics, I learned the complexities of shots with the camera. I could see some of the things he was doing. Mostly though, Nazari did what someone in his profession is supposed to, let the shot come to him and the story tell itself in the frame. I enjoyed watching him, and how quickly he got what he needed.
